GIGAette presented CryoIMS at H2 KOREA 2026, Asia’s largest hydrogen industry exhibition held at KINTEX, Goyang from January 22–24. The three-day event attracted over 45,000 visitors and 380 exhibitors from 28 countries.
Live Demonstration
Our booth featured a transparent cryogenic vessel demonstration that allowed visitors to observe the CryoIMS measurement principle in real time. Using liquid nitrogen (LN2) at –196°C, the demo showcased:
- Real-time level tracking as LN2 was filled and drained
- Stable measurements during simulated boiling and vibration conditions
- Simultaneous pressure and temperature readings on the integrated display
- Comparison with a traditional float gauge running in parallel
The live demo consistently drew crowds throughout all three days. Visitors could literally see the internal differential pressure principle at work — watching the measurement track liquid level changes with sub-centimeter precision while the float gauge struggled with surface turbulence.

IDP-LT Lite Availability
We used the event to announce commercial availability of the IDP-LT Lite, our compact and lightweight level measurement product designed for space-constrained environments:
- Target applications: Mobile hydrogen refueling stations, small-scale LNG, laboratory dewars
- Operating pressure: Up to 2 barG
- Key differentiator: 40% lighter and 30% more compact than the IDP-LT Standard, with a simplified display interface
- Availability: Orders accepted from March 2026, with first deliveries in Q2
Industry Conversations
Over three days, our team held 120+ technical discussions with potential customers and partners. Key themes that emerged:
Hydrogen Refueling Stations
Multiple station operators expressed frustration with existing level measurement solutions for liquid hydrogen. Capacitive and ultrasonic methods face challenges at 20K (–253°C), and the market is actively seeking alternatives. CryoIMS’s temperature-independent measurement principle was a strong draw.
Marine & Shipping
Representatives from two major Korean shipbuilders inquired about CryoIMS for LNG and liquid hydrogen fuel tank monitoring on next-generation vessels. The no-moving-parts design and vibration tolerance are particularly relevant for marine applications.
Aerospace
A delegation from KARI (Korea Aerospace Research Institute) discussed potential applications for rocket propellant tank monitoring, where CryoIMS’s high-resolution LH2 measurement capability (2.5mm) addresses a critical need.
What’s Next
Following the positive reception at H2 KOREA, we are planning:
- Technical webinar series starting April 2026, covering CryoIMS applications by industry
- On-site demonstration program for qualified customers to see CryoIMS operating on their own tanks
- Expanded test data publication — peer-reviewed papers on LH2 and LHe measurement performance
